What Is BLS Training?

The American Heart Association identifies BLS as training for healthcare professionals and trained first responders. Our BLS course is designed for nurses, medical assistants, EMTs, dental professionals, healthcare students, and other clinical staff who need current, certification-ready Basic Life Support training.

This course goes beyond basic CPR — you'll practice high-quality chest compressions, bag-mask ventilation, two-rescuer techniques, and team resuscitation dynamics in a hands-on, instructor-led environment. Successful completion qualifies students for the AHA BLS course completion eCard.
